Brent Cross upgrade to the mall is experiencing heavy delays with work that had been due to start next month. They are now expecting to begin in January. This could be crucial for the opening date of the giant mall, dates from as late as March 2023 are being estimated, rather than September 2022 which was the original date forecasted.
The rebuild will cost approximately £1.4billion and will cause Brent Cross to more than double in size.
With over 200 new stores being added this is a large step for the stores future. As well as the stores, they are looking at opening key leisure attractions such as 60 restaurants, a hotel and a cinema.
