The continued popularity of Greggs’ breakfast deals has helped contribute to increased sales for the first 19 weeks of the year. The company noted that both its £2 breakfast meal as well as its healthy Balanced Options range had performed particularly well, resulting in sales rising by 7.5% in comparison to 5.3% in the same period in the last year. The news comes after the company opened 14 new stores this year as well refitting another 87 already existing stores.
