BHS is set to make a comeback to highstreets this week as they strike a deal to trial a new concession model with Bournemouth based department store, Beales.
They will initially start by trialling in nine stores, with a wider view to expand in the spring depending on how the concessions perform.
The company was purchased by Qatari firm Al Mana when Sir Phillip Green controversially sold it for just £1, one year before the retailer collapsed.
Tony Brown, Beales chief executive said, “They are passionate about getting the brand back onto the UK high street, and so am I”.
“It’s an ideal marriage. Different concessions – menswear, womenswear, homewares and lighting – will be trialled in different locations. It’s to understand if the brands can still resonate with the customer”.
