Reports have shown that a bid for BHS by Greg Tufnell, the former managing director for Mothercare and Burton is close to completion.
Talks will continue until Monday, with an announcement of the result expected to be made in the middle of the week.
Funds are thought to be coming from the Dos Santos family, who are the current leaders of the Portuguese supermarket group Jeronimo Martins. Mr Tufnell has said that even though funds are coming from this family, they do not have any personal, direct involvement in the talks with BHS.
Other bids for BHS include Matalan founder John Hargreaves and Sports Direct owner Mike Ashley.
It has also been reported that two BHS suppliers also went into administration this week where 350 jobs were lost.
