Bargain Booze owner, Conviviality, has appointed David Robinson as managing director of Conviviality Retail, the business unit focused on franchise store operations.
After spending over 20 years in senior roles in the retail industry, Mr Robinson has joined Conviviality from Home Retail Group where he was a member of the executive board and, most recently, chief operating officer of Argos.
His previous positions include running his own events management business and senior roles with Dixons Stores Group.
In a second appointment, Mark Simmonds will join Conviviality in March as commercial finance director. Simmonds has spent the last 19 years working at Mitchells and Butlers, most recently as director of financial planning and analysis.
