Swedish footwear brand Axel Arigato has announced a global flagship store in Soho. The 1,688 sq ft store, the brand’s first bricks and mortar location, is due to open on 9-23 Broadwick Street this September.

Swedish architect Christian Hallerod will be heading up the design for the interior, which will stock a range of the brand’s handcrafted trainers as well as location-specific products. Chief executive officer Albin Johansson commented: “Soho made sense for us. Some of London’s most interesting shops can be found here. It’s a great mix of people, brands and restaurants combined with a rich heritage. There’s no doubting the power of Soho.“
