Australian natural skincare group Jurlique has announced that it will be opening its first store in the UK on London’s Oxford Street. The award-winning brand will occupy two storeys of Oxford Street’s Park House building for both a shop and its European head office, due to open in early November.
Jurlique is currently sold in the UK through Space NK and Debenhams. Earlier this year, it won its first Cosmetic Executive Women Beauty Award in the "Eco Beauty" category for 2016.
Jurlique Europe general manager Amanda Riches commented: “The store will showcase the brand’s new vision and architecture, which successfully captures the beauty and serenity of the Jurlique Farm, and conveys this in a retail setting.”
The company was founded by Dr Jürgen Klein, a biochemist, and his wife Ulrike, a botanist, in the 1980s. Today, Jurlique products are sold in more than 19 countries around the world although the majority of the brand’s unique ingredients are still grown in the Adelaide Hills where Jurlique first began.
