E-tailer ASOS has reported that in the first half of its financial year, its revenue rose 21% to £667.3 million.
Figures show that retail sales increased 21% to £648.6 million in the six months to 29th February, with UK sales rising 25% and international sales rising 18%, whilst pre-tax was up 18% to £21.2million.
Chief executive at ASOS, Nick Beighton, said: “We’ve had a good start to the year and I’m pleased with progress on a number of fronts.
“Particularly encouraging is the 17% growth in our active customers to 10.9 million, with benefits from our investment in our technology and logistics delivering 21% growth in visits to our sites and growth in average order frequency, basket value and conversion.”
Other figures show that over 60% of ASOS traffic comes from mobile devices, with 3.2 million app downloads compared to 2.5 million for the same period the year before.
Mr Beighton added: “I’m pleased to confirm that we are on track to achieve our previously stated sales and margin guidance for the full year.”
