Technology giant Apple has revealed that stores around the world are undergoing refurbishment, which will see the classic outlets take on a new design.
Headed up by Apple design chief Jony Ive and Apple’s head of retail, Angela Ahrendts, stores including Brussels, Tennessee and Belgium already revealed the new look and the new flagship store in San Francisco will be unveiled at the weekend.
The new design will include new wooden tables, more wall displays so the table displays aren’t so untidy and motion sensors used to conceal power outlets.
Also, in each Apple location late monitors will be provided for displaying and demonstrating Apple products and services to customers. It has been reported that the monitors will cost around $1.5 million per location.
