American Eagle Outfitters, Inc is set to expand its American Eagle and Aeire brands into Europe after signing a multi year licensing agreement with AEO EU.
The first stores within the EU region will open in Ireland in the summer. This will be closely followed by an e-commerce site for the European Union and more stores across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, the UK and the Netherlands.
Jay Schottenstien, American Eagle chief executive, said in a press release, "Global expansion is a major growth opportunity for AEO Inc.,"
