Amazon eye potential offloaded stores from Sainsbury’s and Asda merger

Amazon could be keeping a close eye on some of the stores that will be offloaded during the Sainsbury’s and Asda merger.

Amazon told the competition watchdog that acquisitions and investment into the UK grocery market are possible.

Amazon took their first steps into the food stores when they bought Whole foods for £10.7 billion last year.
