German discounter Aldi has announced that it is to expand its ecommerce offering to include items such as electrical goods, cycling gear and garden tools after launching into the online market with its wine store earlier this year.
Despite Aldi coming to ecommerce late, it has reported its website “is performing very well”, with roughly 1 million users per week already. The discounter has now reported that it will launch its “Specialbuys” products twice a week. Currently on offer are a handheld Dyson vacuum cleaners and an Ambiano blender.
