It has been announced that Alan Williamson will be joining the Co-operative Group’s electrical business as head of marketing.

Mr Williamson, whose previous roles include digital director at Netflights.com as well as marketing and e-commerce roles at Shop Direct, Bupa, Thomas Cook and Citi Bank, will be reporting to James Holland Co-op Electrical managing director.

Mr Holland, said: “We have a vision to really grow Electrical and to innovate within the market and we are confident that Alan is integral in helping us to achieve this.

“This is a new role for Co-op which offers unlimited possibilities and opportunities and we give Alan a warm welcome to the team.”
