280 jobs lost as House of Fraser warehouse closes down

The warehouse that delivers items to House of Fraser and its customers has shut down, meaning 280 jobs have been cut.

The workers at the Wellingborough warehouse have been told that it will close on April 10^th.

This follows the closure of a warehouse in Milton Keynes in November, where a further 300 jobs were lost.

In August it was reported that a further 600 jobs were at risk as logistics firm XPO was owed £30.4m by House of Fraser.
