As a Finance Analyst at Harrods, you will add value to the Finance team through reporting, financial planning, and analysis. The Finance Analyst will report to the Finance Business Partner.
About the Role
As a Finance Analyst at Harrods, you will add value through reporting, financial planning, and analysis. You will be a finance expert, tasked with identifying opportunities and offering recommendations to aid strategic decision-making. Your role works closely with your designated business unit(s), wider finance teams and other commercial functions.
A Finance Analyst’s role is to use financial data to provide insights and support decision-making, as well as ensure compliance with regulations and policies. You will be expected to support on financial matters including ensuring appropriate financial controls; forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning; reporting on and improve business performance; deliver analysis and insight on business opportunities, including capital investment. All of these will have a focus on maximising shareholder value and return.
About You
You will have a professional Finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with some industry expereince. You’ll have Strong financial modelling and Excel skills (lookups, pivots, scenario modelling), with the ability to design, build and maintain models. You’ll be able to Communicates clearly and confidently with non‑finance and senior stakeholders.
You will be commercially astute, with strong presentation skills and the ability to influence. You’ll have expereince of high‑quality analysis and early insight that helps shape commercial and financial performance. You’ll have project expereince and have contributed to projects that enhance commercial performance or improve financial processes.
