Whilst working on a counter you have to adhere to your host store requirements but you also have to deliver results for your own line manager. This is where your relationships come into play. Make sure that you talk to the senior managers in your host store about what you are doing to deliver results but also make sure that this is in line with what their expectations are. Ensuring that you have regular meetings with them is another way to show that you are serious about your role and counter.
At the end of the day, if your counter isn't performing, the host store can move your mat or even remove the brand, so it is important to show that you mean business!"
