Excitingly, our Rewards & Benefits team here at Harrods is growing. We are looking for a Rewards & Benefits Partner who will take the lead on stakeholder management for key areas of rewards and benefits cyclical activity.

As part of our HR Operations division, the Reward & Benefits team is responsible for ensuring our programmes are the best in class for our exceptional colleagues. In this role, you will have vast exposure to the broader Harrods business, therefore it’s a great opportunity to build important relationships and be part of how Harrods is shaped for the future.

About the Role

As the Reward & Benefits Partner, you will play a critical role in the execution of our total reward strategy and the delivery of our annual processes, including pay review, bonus and benefit reviews. You will join a Reward & Benefits team, reporting into the Reward & Benefits Manager and working alongside a Reward & Benefits Administrator.

Acting as a reward partner to the business, you will provide comprehensive advice on all pay and reward matters aligned to market practice and the overarching Harrods reward strategy. You will use your strong understanding of organisation design and different business functions at both an operational and corporate level, to provide advice that is tailored to the distinct areas and their needs.

You will support the development of compensation structures aligned with job family and band structures to enable better foundations for career navigation and reward decisions, and you will be an expert in our grading methodology (Willis Towers Watson), being able to independently benchmark roles.

You will also:

Manage the market pay benchmarking, and salary survey processes with our external partners.
Manage the execution of our pay review, bonus, and commission processes, ensuring they are seamlessly delivered, well communicated, with comprehensive excel databases where required alongside maximising the available Workday functionality.
Support on Gender Pay Gap reporting at year end in partnership with senior HR leaders where required.
Maintain specialist knowledge by keeping abreast of published materials, competitor practice, external market developments and trends and legislative and regulatory developments.
Support the negotiation and manage the relationship with vendors on our various benefits.
Investigate new internal benefits that enhance our offer to employees as part of our employer value proposition, and drive the uptake of existing benefits to ensure our toward reward offering is understood and highly valued.
Ensure we are compliant with all legislation from a reward and benefits perspective.
Acts as a Tier 3 SME for reward and benefit matters, acting as a champion for our operating model.

About You

This is an extremely busy role which provides a huge amount of value for the rest of the business, and your key stakeholders will be the HR Business Partner population. You will be able to partner effectively, building trust with your credibility and knowledge.

You will also have:

Strong business acumen with an ability to link business strategy to people practices.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to get into the detail while understanding the bigger picture.
Experience of managing internal relationships to ensure the effective delivery of reward initiatives.
An inquisitive and challenging mind, with an interest in questioning and improving the “as is”.
Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work with and manipulate large data sets comfortably (will be tested at interview).
Ability to manage and deliver in parallel multiple projects and tasks across a broad range of areas.
Strong communication skills & experience of liaising with and influencing senior stakeholders.
