We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our marketing team; the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for taking on a variety of tasks that allow for the successful completion of planned marketing activities and campaigns. This will include supporting with the creation and delivery of a diverse range of internal and external marketing communication.

Key Responsibilities:

· Support with all aspects of new store openings including marketing, advertising and store set up

· Assist the VM Manager with writing VM guidelines and completing store layouts

· Weekly competitor research online and offline

· Understand the season’s trends and assist with the provision of samples to the PR agency that meet those seasonal trends

· Manage image selection process for eCommerce, campaign and PR photography including working with the buying team on product descriptions and prices

· Assist with the building of CRM programmes to increase customer retention

· Co-ordinate and book all campaign photoshoots

· Weekly reporting

· Support with deliverable for bi-monthly TV shopping

· Support social team as required with influencer activation, community management, competitor research, Facebook lives, PR packages and content

· Sample management for all photography and social requirements

· Support Marketing Manager with local marketing initiatives

· Logging of all marketing invoices

· Support the team with general admin and ad hoc duties

Ideal Candidate should have:

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Creative flair

· Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint

· Strong organisational skills with the ability to work on own initiative and to meet timescales

· Effective communication with management and staff across the business at all levels

· Previous experience in a marketing department or have completed a marketing related qualification
