You will be based at our modern purpose built Head Office in the vibrant city centre of Cardiff. Cardiff is an accessible city with strong transport links, and London is only 2 hours away by train.

The role
We are looking for an ambitious, driven and highly motivated Head of Marketing to join our team. The main purpose of the role is to lead the marketing and visual merchandising team across Peacocks to drive sales and profit growth.
• Manage the marketing and visual merchandising team.
• Work closely with buying teams to ensure a full understanding of the ranges/looks for each season.
• To be the custodian of the brand, working with the creative agency to evolve the brand guidelines to create distinct brand handwriting across all internal and external communication channels and touch points.
• Brief the creative agency on seasonal multi-channel campaigns sign off with senior management team.
• Work with the creative agency from concept to implementation of the company’s creative requirements.
• Brief creative agency on the development of window displays and in store promotional campaigns.
• Work with VM Manager to ensure that window displays and seasonal in-store campaigns are set up in the mock shop for viewing and sign off from senior management.
• Liaise with buying and merchandising departments to obtain relevant information for all window and in-store POS in order to brief creative agency
• Log all marketing expenditure and maintain up to date records of money spent against marketing budgets. Make suggestions to reduce costs.
• Be the company local marketing leader and ensure we deliver events and monitor results accurately.
• Any had hoc duties as required.

Requirements:
• Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and rigour in producing work to tight deadlines
• Efficient and organised with good time management.
• Able to work under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
• A creative flair linked with a clear commercial focus.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• A proven track record in delivering marketing campaigns.
