We’re looking for an organised and proactive Project Support Coordinator to join our fast‑paced Talent Acquisition (TA) team on a 12-month fixed term contract. In this role, you’ll help coordinate key recruitment projects, support process improvements, and play an important part in strengthening how Lidl attracts and hires great talent across the UK.

Please be aware, should this fixed-term contract have the potential to go permanent, the colleague on the fixed-term contract will have first-refusal of the role (provided measures have been met). As per internal structures, internally this role will be known as Officer.

What you'll do

  • Support the planning and coordination of Talent Acquisition projects, ensuring tasks, timelines, and documentation are kept up to date.
  • Assist with stakeholder communication, meeting preparation, and follow‑up actions.
  • Help monitor project progress, risks, and deadlines, escalating issues where needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement work across recruitment systems, processes, and candidate experience.
  • Work closely with TA Managers to gather information, track challenges, and support project‑based solutions.
  • Assist with data collection and basic reporting to help inform decision‑making.
  • Build positive working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Support testing, rollout, and training activities for new TA systems or upgrades.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and improve efficiency.

What you'll need

  • Experience in an administrative, coordination, or project support role—ideally within Talent Acquisition, HR, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Clear and confident communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.
  • Basic analytical skills and confidence working with data or reports.
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset and an interest in improving processes.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced environment—retail experience is a bonus.
