About the role The Portfolio & Resourcing Manager leads the Technology Programme Office and ensures effective governance, resourcing, and financial oversight across technology programmes and projects. The role supports delivery teams, manages portfolio‑level reporting, risks, and dependencies, and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to enable efficient delivery aligned to Tesco standards and budgets.

- Establishing and maintaining standardised and effective project and programme governance and processes
- Supporting the programme teams in the delivery of programmes/projects
- Continuously evaluating programmes/projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure that our processes and procedures are aligned with the governance structures of the respective business areas
- Produce management reporting on headcount and overall budgets (Capex and Opex), finance administration for SOWs, POs etc.
- Ensure risks and issues, assumptions and dependencies are managed across programmes and portfolios
- To be responsible for leading and supporting the building of a common set of project tools
- Creating and maintaining a structured document management system for storage of finance project and business process documentation.

- Revising, archiving and tracking of active software license, 3party contracts and external assignments
