A well-established, design-led footwear and accessories retailer with a strong high-street presence and rapidly growing digital footprint is looking for a senior digital manager to take ownership of its end-to-end customer growth engine.

This is a pivotal leadership role focused on shaping how customers discover, engage with, and remain loyal to a brand that sits at the intersection of fashion, comfort, and everyday lifestyle retail. You’ll be responsible for turning data, creative, and channel performance into sustained commercial growth across both acquisition and retention.

At its core, this is about building a connected customer journey — attracting new audiences efficiently, increasing lifetime value, and creating meaningful repeat engagement through smart, personalised marketing.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
You will define and lead the overall digital growth strategy across all customer touchpoints, balancing performance marketing with long-term CRM development to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

On the acquisition side, you will oversee a full performance marketing ecosystem including paid search, paid social, SEO, affiliates, display, and app marketing. You’ll manage substantial media investment with a clear focus on efficiency, scalability, and return on spend.

On the retention side, you will own the CRM strategy and platform, developing sophisticated lifecycle journeys that increase repeat purchase, reduce churn, and re-activate lapsed customers. You will also lead the development and rollout of a customer loyalty proposition designed to deepen engagement and strengthen brand affinity.

You will operate as a key senior leader within the business, working closely with Ecommerce, Trading, Merchandising, Retail, Insights, and Technology teams to ensure alignment across commercial priorities and customer experience.

In addition, you will lead and develop a specialist team across digital performance and CRM, creating a high-accountability, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement and commercial impact.

What We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced digital leader who understands how to drive growth across both acquisition and retention channels in a competitive retail or consumer-facing environment.

You will bring:
- Proven experience in senior digital marketing roles covering both performance acquisition and CRM
- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of delivering revenue growth and improving ROI
- Hands-on experience managing multi-channel marketing budgets at scale
- Deep understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and personalisation
- Confidence operating at senior stakeholder level and influencing across multiple departments
- A leadership style that combines strategic thinking with operational delivery

The Opportunity

The role offers a salary of up to £75,000, plus bonus and benefits package, depending on experience.
