
Buying and Supply Chain Manager - Cafe
This head office role leads and directs the full scope of the buying and supply chain function. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Commercial, Insight & Food Development, you will take accountability for end-to-end buying and supply chain activities.
You will oversee supplier and stock management, new product sourcing, product costing and availability, as well as data analysis and reporting. A key part of the role is ensuring consistent café stock availability, supporting the delivery of a seamless customer experience.

You will be responsible forManaging the end-to-end Tesco Hospitality supply chain, supporting 333 café sites across GB and NI.
Working closely with key distribution and logistics partners to ensure continuity of supply.
Holding full responsibility and accountability for the annual cost of goods spend across all menu categories, including food, beverages, consumables and packaging.
Leading the pricing strategy and ensuring delivery against budget targets, including overseeing quarterly price reviews and new menu launches.
Developing and maintaining the supplier base, as well as actively sourcing new suppliers to support innovation, new propositions and brand growth.
Negotiating supplier terms, pricing and contracts.
Collaborating cross-functionally with all departments to deliver shared objectives.
Owning cost-of-goods reporting and confidently presenting insights to key stakeholders.
You will need- A passion for hospitality.
- Previous buying and/or supply chain experience.
- Strong commercial skills, including range management, supplier management, strategic planning, financial acumen and margin management.
- Experience in data analysis and reporting.
- Line management experience is desirable but not essential.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively.
- Adaptability and resilience, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.
