A recent study found that almost half of UK retailers have felt the impact of the Brexit vote, although a third have also reported rises in international sales due to the falling value of the pound. The study, ran by ecommerce specialist Global-e, featured 250 British retail decision-makers. It found that 68% of those surveyed have not yet put plans in place for Brexit and a further 48% of retailers expect the economy to weaken as a result of the vote. The economic and political uncertainty caused by the referendum has not yet been fully realised and many analysts are still very unsure about what the long-lasting impacts will be once Article 50 is triggered.
