Assistant Manager – Support and Lead with Britain’s Oldest Brewer!

As an Assistant Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the General Manager to run the pub efficiently, lead the team, and deliver outstanding hospitality. Where You’ll Be Working

Dating back to 1860, the Windsor Castle is a traditional pub where a warm welcome is guaranteed. Just a short walk from Carshalton High Street, it boasts a spacious bar and restaurant, with a delicious menu of home-cooked traditional pub classics and light bites on offer.

What You’ll Do

• Support the General Manager in day-to-day operations, including opening and closing duties.
• Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional service and uphold company standards.
• Assist with staff training, development, and performance management.
• Manage stock control, ordering, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Handle customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Contribute ideas to improve service and business performance.
