Volume Planner – Logistics

In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of our depot planning activity — helping us forecast volumes, plan goods-in activity and prepare for the trading moments that matter most, from everyday demand to Christmas and Easter peaks.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with weekend working approximately 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. Hybrid working is available on a 2 in 5 work-from-home basis.

- You’ll help our depots plan with confidence by producing clear, accurate daily reports.
- You’ll work closely with colleagues across logistics and supply chain to support forecasting and operational planning.
- You’ll play a key role in goods-in planning, including depot utilisation projections.
- You’ll turn data into insight that helps us prepare for peak trading events, including Christmas and Easter.
- You’ll be encouraged to spot opportunities, improve ways of working and make the role your own.
What you’ll make happen
- Create timely, accurate reporting that supports fast, informed logistics decisions.
- Analyse data to forecast depot pick operations of up to 5 million cases per week.
- Share clear depot forecasts with key stakeholders so teams can plan ahead.
- Support goods-in planning and utilisation forecasting across the depot network.
- Build strong relationships with depot and supply chain teams to keep plans aligned and activity running smoothly.

- Knowledge or experience of supply chain and logistics principles.
- Experience working with operational data, reporting or forecasting.
- The confidence to collaborate with depot and supply chain teams and keep people informed.
