Licensing Administrator

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Licensing Administrator to join our Legal Department.

As a Licensing Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the business and helping to ensure compliance with licensing regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who wants to develop their career within a specialist regulatory environment. What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the department with the administration of Personal and Premises Licences.

Personal Licences

• Coordinate licensing training and examinations for colleagues.

• Process application paperwork.

• Process criminal record checks.

• Apply to local authorities.

Premises Licences

• Designated Premises Supervisor (DPS) Variations.
• Designated Premises Manager (DPM) Variations.

You’ll also be:

• Maintaining accurate licensing records, databases and tracking systems.

• Liaising with stores, local authorities, police, licensing boards and external stakeholders.

• Supporting age-restricted sales compliance programmes and other licensing initiatives.
• Producing compliance reports and management information for stakeholders across the business.
• Implementing processes to help ensure that our stores, store colleagues and the business remain correctly licensed.
• Raising Purchase Orders and processing invoices for payment.

What we’re looking for

• Previous administration experience.

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• A dependable and positive approach, with a willingness to learn.

• Confidence completing detailed tasks accurately and consistently.
