This exciting role is an integral part of the IT & HR Systems team that delivers the products, solutions, and operations for the HR team across the UK AS Watson businesses (Superdrug, Savers and The Perfume Shop).
In this role you'll support our teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience across HR, Payroll, Recruitment, Onboarding and Performance.

In this role you'll use your knowledge and expertise in payroll, recruitment, or HR systems to provide support and action change. You'll be involved in regular testing and planning, incident support & triage, functional system design recommendations & functional support to key users / product owners. We'll give you full training to help you develop the skills you need to be successful.

This role gives you the opportunity to fully utilise your analytical and technical capabilities whilst providing functional support for the HR team. You'll cover basic functional work. and you'll have the opportunity to provide a degree of basic technical support if additional cover is needed

Key Responsibilities

Provide AS Watson users throughout the UK with functional support across our HR, recruitment and payroll systems
Work with our junior analyst to effectively manage the IT support queue
As a member of the UK Support Team you will provide cover Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm, and also out of hours on a rota basis
Provide advice and guidance on the efficient use and configuration of Oracle HCM and Cornerstone systems
Test software patches, new releases and upgrades and lead and support our users in this testing
Using reporting tools such as Splash BI you'll provide support for Oracle HCM reports and processes.
Design, write, implement, and support current and new BI reports
Develop, test, and implement small functionality changes across Oracle HCM and Cornerstone, and in the case of Cornerstone, following Regional Standards
Test and implement legislative and fiscal changes
Keep up to date with functionality, developments and product releases of both Oracle and Cornerstone
Work as part of project teams on future upgrades and implementations of HR applications

Person Specification
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to meet deadlines and troubleshoot problems
Experience of Oracle HCM or a similar HR system (such as Workday) is preferable
Previous experience of working in or with HR or Payroll departments
Have an eye for detail and enjoy problem solving and customer care
An outstanding team player, this is a small yet vital team
Excellent knowledge of System Administration
Experience of report writing
