Assistant Store Manager

An iconic, luxury fashion designer is looking to recruit for an assistant store manager, to be based at its flagship store in the west end. The brand is stocked in over 50 countries and offers ready-to-wear, footwear and leather goods. This critically acclaimed brand has won numerous awards and is recognised as being a classic luxury brand with a subtle contemporary flair. It is one of the most instantly recognisable names in the luxury fashion sector.

The role reports into the store director who works very closely with the company owner. You will act as a global brand ambassador and will drive the customer experience in store, through sound customer acquisition and excellent client retention, by owning the clientelling side of the business. You will support the store director to achieve the highest operational standards and will work closely with the team of sales associates, taking responsibility for their training and development.

Coming from a luxury retail environment, either boutique or department store, you will be results-orientated, with the ability to drive and deliver the implementation of new ideas. The brand has a very entrepreneurial culture which means your ideas will be listened to and implemented. They are looking for a creative thinker with high-energy and high intellect to think strategically and see the bigger picture. You’ll have exceptional people skills and be able to demonstrate how you have developed and grown a team around you.

In return the is paying a basic salary of up to £60,000, depending on experience, with a bonus potential of up to £5,000 per year. They have a generous clothing allowance, perfect for someone who is in love with the product. There is also a generous staff discount of 50% for RTW, 30% for accessories and 70% on beauty products.
