Card Factory has appointed former Britvic chief executive Paul Moody as their new chairman.

Geoff Cooper, who was acting chairman since 2014, announced in 2014 that he was stepping down due to personal health reasons.

Paul Moody will join the company with nearly 20 years of experience at the soft drink brand which owns brands including Robinsons and J2O.

Moody is credited by his former employer for guiding the company through an IPO and developing a commercial franchise partnership with PepsiCo., allowing them to produce, distribute and market their brands including Pepsi and 7UP.

Moody said “I’m very excited to be joining Card Factory at this stage in its evolution. It is a company with an enviable market leading position, a unique business model and is presented with a number of opportunities to build further value under its current strategy and beyond.”
