“I work at PAUL because of the brilliant people development and the joy I get from training people and sharing their challenges and victories… Lockdown was difficult but it has also allowed me to Tkw tiem to focus on myself. I am grateful to be back at Bow Lane working again now and I’m sure it wasn’t a coincidence that my first day back was on my birthday! I was indeed meant to be at PAUL on this special day!” Helene – Shop Manager

“The people, culture & chance to delight customers every day with our delicious products – that’s why I work at PAUL.I love the challenge of developing the team and myself so we can be the best version of ourselves for our customers and the business. I love our bread, particularly the campagne, but you’re spoilt for choice! The duo chocolate cake is my favourite, but you can’t beat a freshly baked croissant with your morning coffee. Lockdown has bought me many of the same challenges that everyone is facing – but with an energetic 2 year old and working through apprenticeship assignments, I’ve certainly not been bored!” Seb – Shop Manager

“I’m passionate about the quality of our products and services. In these difficult and unprecedented times, I am so thrilled to be able to put a smile on my customers face when they pop by for a takeaway coffee, cake or something savoury!” Agnes – Shop Manager. Agnes is proud to share her knowledge with others within the PAUL family. She’s been training new managers coming in to the business for over 2 years and she’s looking forward to training more in the near future.

“I’ve been a Baker at PAUL for the last 12 years, my passion has always been the quality of the products and the community we serve, but I feel that is especially now that being able to trade safely while helping our local community and spreading a smile to our customers is that much more important. That’s why I continue to bake everyday and help where I can. As for my favourite thing in the morning, there’s nothing better than the smell of freshly baked bread and croissants… can’t beat it!” Andrzej - Baker

“I started baking part time when I was 13 years old and haven’t stopped since! Those traditional methods I learnt all those years ago still apply today to make the best artisan bread. My day starts in the Bakery at 5.30am with the rest of my team. We work on baking and producing our famous bread and pastries for our shops and wholesale customers. It’s been really rewarding for me personally, as well as for the team to be able to serve the local community everyday with what we do best.” Kevin – Head of Atleier Bakery
