Salary: £20.72 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with occasional evening or weekend shifts available if desired

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will play a key leadership role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef to deliver outstanding food and exceptional service. You’ll inspire and mentor the team while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Assist in the development of innovative menus and creative dishes.
  • Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently, managing stock, budgets, and costs.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Train and develop junior team members to help them achieve their potential.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Experience: Proven track record as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a professional kitchen.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, creativity, and excellent organizational abilities.
  • Attitude: A passionate, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
