Are you a passionate retail leader who believes that great results come from developing great people?
We're looking for an inspiring Store Manager to lead a high-profile fashion retail store delivering approximately £2 million in annual turnover and managing a team of around 10 colleagues. This is an exciting opportunity for a people-first leader who enjoys coaching, developing talent, and creating an engaging store culture while delivering strong commercial performance.
The Opportunity
As Store Manager, you'll take full ownership of the store's performance, leading from the front to drive sales, customer experience, and operational excellence. More importantly, you'll be responsible for creating an environment where your team can thrive, grow, and achieve their potential.
This role would suit an ambitious retail manager who is passionate about developing future leaders and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
• Leading, motivating and developing a team of approximately 10 colleagues.
• Creating clear development plans to help team members progress their careers.
• Coaching and mentoring Assistant Managers and Supervisors to build future talent pipelines.
• Driving a highly engaging customer experience that reflects a contemporary fashion brand.
• Managing all aspects of store operations, including performance, stock, compliance, and visual standards.
• Delivering sales and profitability targets in a £2 million turnover environment.
• Building a positive, inclusive culture where individuals feel valued and supported.
• Using commercial insight and store data to identify opportunities for growth.
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience managing a retail store, preferably within fashion, lifestyle or customer-focused environments.
• A proven track record of developing and retaining high-performing teams.
• Strong coaching and leadership skills with a genuine passion for people development.
• Commercially minded with the ability to balance customer experience and business performance.
• Energetic, hands-on and comfortable leading from the shop floor.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
