Business Readiness Coordinator

Location: Birmingham/Hybrid/mobile
Business Area: Enterprise Change & Transformation
Reports to: Programme Manager

Ready to help shape the future of Compass?

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Business Readiness Coordinator to support the rollout of a major enterprise-wide transformation programme across Compass Group UK & Ireland. Working as part of our Enterprise Change & Transformation team, you'll play a key role in ensuring colleagues are prepared, supported, and set up for success as new systems and ways of working are introduced across the business.

The Role

As a Business Readiness Coordinator, you'll work closely with Programme Managers and Change Leads to coordinate user onboarding, system access, readiness activities and first-line support throughout programme deployments and go-live periods. You'll help ensure users have the right tools, permissions, guidance and support needed to successfully adopt new operational processes.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Coordinating user onboarding and system access across key business platforms.
  • Supporting colleagues with system queries, access issues and readiness activities during rollout and hypercare periods.
  • Maintaining deployment trackers, user records and programme data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Providing administrative support including meeting coordination, minutes, documentation and presentation preparation.
  • Supporting the distribution of training materials, user guides and communications to ensure successful adoption of new ways of working.
About You

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing structure, organisation and support to large-scale business initiatives.

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in administration, project coordination, business support or programme delivery.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence managing large volumes of data.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, along with experience using project tracking tools.
  • Outstanding organisational and communication skills.
  • A customer-focused approach with the ability to support and guide users through change.
Desirable Experience
  • Supporting transformation, change or technology programmes.
  • User access management or basic IT support processes.
  • Experience within hospitality, retail, contract catering or multi-site organisations.
  • Supporting training, onboarding or user adoption activities.
Why Compass?

This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading food and support services businesses and be part of a high-profile transformation programme that will shape how teams work across Compass Group UK & Ireland.

You'll gain exposure to large-scale change, work with stakeholders across multiple sectors and play a critical role in helping colleagues embrace new ways of working.

If you're organised, detail-oriented and passionate about supporting change, we'd love to hear from you.
