A leading footwear retailer are looking for a commercially minded and trend-aware Junior Buyer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about fashion, product, and retail who wants to develop their buying career in a fast-paced environment.

As Junior Buyer, you’ll support the buying team in building commercially successful footwear ranges across seasonal collections. You’ll work closely with suppliers, merchandising, design, and stores to ensure the right products land at the right time and price.

You’ll help identify emerging trends, analyse performance data, and contribute to delivering ranges that excite customers and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development of seasonal footwear ranges
- Analyse sales performance, customer trends, and competitor activity
- Assist with supplier negotiations and product selection
- Build strong relationships with brands and manufacturers
- Work closely with merchandising teams on forecasting and stock management
- Attend product reviews, fit sessions, and buying meetings
- Help manage critical paths to ensure timely product delivery
- Conduct market and trend research to identify new opportunities

About You:
- Previous experience in a buying or assistant buying role within fashion, footwear, or retail
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills
- Passion for footwear, fashion trends, and retail
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
- Confident using Excel and retail systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude

The salary is paying up to £40,000
