Workplace Services Account Manager

Luton | Up to £62,000 per annum

Lead the Future of Workplace Services with Compass Group UK & Ireland

This is far more than a facilities management role.

We're looking for an exceptional Workplace Services Account Manager to lead one of Compass Group's most exciting and progressive workplace environments in Luton. This high-profile account brings together cleaning, security, catering, hard services, reception, post room, general facility services and workplace experience into one seamless operation, creating an environment where people can thrive. We also provide hard services at a location in Castle Donnington.

As the leader of this integrated workplace services team, you'll be responsible for delivering a truly best-in-class experience across a complex site with multiple facilities and vibrant foodservice outlets. You'll unite diverse service teams behind a shared vision, drive innovation, exceed client expectations and help shape the future of how workplace services are delivered.

If you're an ambitious FM professional who wants to be part of a market-leading Total Facilities Management operation and make a genuine impact every day, we'd love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

As Workplace Services Account Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the entire workplace experience.

You'll lead multifunctional teams, build trusted client relationships and create a culture where service excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategy and operational delivery across a highly visible contract, working with industry-leading teams and the support of the UK's largest catering and support services provider.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading a fully integrated workplace services operation across cleaning, security, catering, hard FM, reception, post room and general facility services.
  • Creating a "One Team" culture that brings all service lines together to deliver a seamless client and customer experience.
  • Building trusted relationships and identifying opportunities to add value.
  • Driving operational excellence through strong KPI and SLA performance.
  • Leading, inspiring and developing diverse teams while creating an engaging and inclusive working environment.
  • Managing budgets, financial performance and commercial objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and contract success.
  • Championing innovation, service improvement and best practice across all areas of the contract.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, compliance and operational governance.
  • Delivering regular performance reviews and strategic updates to senior stakeholders.
  • Enhancing the workplace experience by identifying new ways to improve services and customer satisfaction.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking a confident and commercially minded FM leader who thrives in complex environments and enjoys bringing people together to achieve outstanding results.

You'll need:

  • Proven experience leading facilities management operations within a complex, multi-service environment driving workplace experience operation.
  • A strong background in both security and cleaning management, with direct responsibility for operational delivery.
  • Experience managing IFM or TFM contracts.
  • Outstanding client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • A track record of delivering operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budget management and P&L responsibility.
  • The ability to inspire, engage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • A solid understanding of health & safety, compliance and risk management within FM.
  • Relevant qualifications such as IOSH, NEBOSH, IWFM or similar (desirable).

Why Join Compass Group?

At Compass Group, we're redefining workplace services through innovation, collaboration and exceptional service delivery.

This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation where you'll have the autonomy to lead, the support to succeed and the platform to develop your career within one of the UK's most respected facilities management businesses.

If you're passionate about creating exceptional workplace experiences and want to lead a truly integrated FM operation, we'd love to hear from you.
