Are you passionate about food, drink and exceptional service? Would you like to join an award-winning hospitality team and still make it home for dinner? We're looking for a Senior Retail Chef de Partie to join our team in Ashurst.

Salary: £35,200 per annum

Location: SE25 5EW

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver high-quality fresh food for a busy retail operation, serving approximately 450 covers per day.
Support the Senior Sous Chef and Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are maintained.
Take ownership of a designated section, ensuring all food is prepared, cooked, and served efficiently during busy service periods.
Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, and minimising food waste to achieve cost targets.
Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards, ensuring all due diligence records are completed accurately.
Train and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging continuous development within the kitchen team.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate strong organisational and time management skills to meet service demands and deadlines.
Contribute ideas for menu development and daily specials while maintaining retail food trends and customer expectations.
Bring previous Chef de Partie experience, a passion for cooking and learning, strong food preparation knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a positive team-focused approach.
