Tesco Shift Lead Night pay starts at £15.59 per hour, rising to £16.86 in stores within the M25. For all hours worked between midnight and 6am you will receive an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour worked. Some locations may offer additional payments. We guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, though roles from 12 hours are also available.

Your contracted hours will be scheduled within the availability windows shown, with at least 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If your availability is close to what we’re looking for, we still encourage you to apply.

You will be responsible for

Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-storeÂ

Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queriesÂ

Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best

Confidently leading the store in the Manager’s absence

You will need

Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment. Â

Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer’s needs are met.

Build positive, long‑lasting relationships to create an inclusive, supportive team environment.

A clear communicator, using a variety of methods to keep the team well informed. Â

A natural leader who motivates and inspires the team to deliver outstanding results.
