Come work for us at SSP Canada at Edmonton International Airport as an Overnight Tim Hortons Cashier!

SSP Canada operates multiple restaurants inside the Edmonton International Airport, including: Starbucks, Tim Hortons, The Canadian Brewhouse, Belgian Beer Cafe, Boston Pizza, Tap & Pour, & Upper Crust.

Here are a few things you can expect as an Overnight Food Service Attendant:

  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
  • Receive payment from the customer and process change.
  • Serve hot, and cold drinks as well as a wide variety of food items to guests.
  • Follow all recipes and practice portion control to prepare, garnish, and present ordered items.
  • Complete opening, on-going, and closing checklists as required.
  • Perform general and specific cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Other Requirements

  • Must be able to work overnight shifts (between then hours of 10:00 pm - 7:00 am)
  • Minimum six months experience working in food service environment
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Verbal and written communication
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and take orders.
  • Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service.
  • Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, etc.
  • Food handlers permit as required by law.
  • Brand Certification as required.
  • Ability to remember, recite, and promote the variety of menu items.
  • Ability to operate a keyboard & point of sale procedures to pre-check an order & close out a check.
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long period of time.
