We’re on the lookout for a passionate, reliable and enthusiastic Sample Shopping Assistant to join our Sampling department. In this role, you’ll be a key support for our Buying and Sampling teams, shopping for products that will be used for evaluation and decision-making.

Your New Role

  • Shop to exacting standards, selecting items carefully and ensuring everything is ready for use on time
  • Maintain a highly organised, efficient workflow so sample preparation can stay smooth and on track
  • Follow all food safety and handling procedures to ensure samples are prepared and stored correctly

About You

  • Track record that demonstrates punctuality, dependability and integrity
  • Retail/Hospitality experience
  • A genuine passion for food and attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently at pace, and with an initiative to thrive in a hands-on environment
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with colleagues across all levels
  • A team-orientated mindset and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Teams

What You’ll get in Return

  • Salary from £26,835 rising to £32,470 (pro rata)
  • 18 month fixed term contract
  • Monday to Wednesday, 7:30am to 3:30pm
