In this pivotal role, you will oversee catering, hospitality, and front of house operations at a prestigious, high-profile corporate site. You will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the overall contract, ensuring the delivery of exceptional foodservice, seamless workplace hospitality, and a premium front of house experience.

You will lead the development, training, and performance management of your team, while also driving commercial success in line with growth and retention targets. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across catering, hospitality, and front of house/reception services to ensure a seamless, high-quality experience.
  • Ensure a premium front of house environment, maintaining professional standards in reception, guest services, and workplace experience.
  • Manage and develop the reception team, ensuring excellent customer service, communication, and site presentation at all times.
  • Ensure full compliance with Compass policies, health & safety regulations, and food hygiene standards.
  • Drive financial performance through accurate budgeting, forecasting, and profit & loss (P&L) management.
  • Control costs effectively, including labour, food, waste, agency usage, and overheads.
  • Develop and manage staffing plans across catering and front of house functions aligned with business needs and budgets.
  • Lead, coach, and develop multifunctional teams, supporting performance, training, and career progression.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative culture across both hospitality and reception teams.
  • Build strong client relationships through regular communication, reporting, and strategic partnership.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer journey from arrival through to dining and hospitality services.
  • Promote innovation across food offering, workplace hospitality, and guest experience design.
  • Lead and embed continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Act as a Compass brand ambassador, representing company values and standards at all times.

About You:

  • Proven leadership experience in foodservice or hospitality management.
  • Strong commercial awareness with solid budgeting and P&L management skills.
  • Passionate about quality, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Skilled in building client relationships and leading high-performing teams.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
