Location: HMNB Clyde

35 hours per week

£15.19 per hour

We are looking for a proactive Catering Supervisor to support the day-to-day delivery of catering, hospitality, and retail services at HMNB Clyde. This role is responsible for leading teams on shift, maintaining high standards of customer service, food safety, and cleanliness, and supporting the Catering Manager in delivering operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily catering operations and support service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, COSHH, and company procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example.
  • Monitor cleaning schedules, compliance records, and operational checklists.
  • Support team training and development.
  • Manage stock control, cash handling, and profit protection procedures.
  • Assist with hospitality events, functions, and retail operations.
  • Support rota management and respond flexibly to business needs.
About You
  • Previous supervisory experience in catering, hospitality, retail, or food service.
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills.
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible approach with a commitment to high standards.
