Senior Footwear Designer
Design / Production / Technical

We’re looking for a talented and trend-driven Footwear/Slipper Designer to create commercially successful ranges for leading UK high street retailers and supermarkets. This is an exciting opportunity to own the full design journey — from initial concept and trend forecasting to customer presentations and final approval — while shaping products that customers love.
What You’ll Be Doing
Designing seasonal slipper collections for multiple customers across UK high street and supermarket accounts
Researching trends and consumer behaviour to create inspiring mood boards, colour palettes, and fabric directions
Translating trends into commercially viable designs aligned with target price points
Creating designs using strong CAD skills, supported by confident hand sketching
Producing accurate technical drawings and detailed product specifications
Collaborating closely with the Design Manager, product development, sourcing, account management, and wider design teams
Presenting concepts and full ranges to customers at our office and at their Head Offices, confidently evolving designs based on feedback
Managing multiple accounts and deadlines while maintaining quality, creativity, and commercial focus
Communicating clearly and effectively with UK and China-based teams throughout the development process
Travelling in the UK and overseas to meet customers and suppliers, source materials, conduct market research, and attend trade fairs and exhibitions
What We’re Looking For
A commercially minded designer with a strong eye for trend and detail
Excellent CAD and technical drawing skills, with the ability to hand sketch ideas
Confident communicator who enjoys presenting and building customer relationships
Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects
A passion for product, trend, and creating designs that sell
