Operating within a Databricks, Azure, and Foundry ecosystem, the AI Ops Manager establishes and runs the AI Ops practices covering usage, cost, quality, risk, and lifecycle management enabling AI to scale safely, predictably, and with measurable business impact.

What You’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
Define and lead the enterprise AI Ops operating model, establishing standards, governance, and ownership across all AI services.
Own the operational performance of AI products, monitoring usage, adoption, business value, reliability, and service health.
Drive AI cost transparency and optimisation across Azure, Databricks, model inferencing, and supporting platform services.
Govern the end-to-end AI lifecycle, including model onboarding, deployment, monitoring, retraining, version upgrades, and retirement.
Lead AI incident, change, resilience, and responsible AI processes, ensuring production services remain trusted, secure, and compliant.
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
An experienced technology leader with a proven track record operating AI and machine learning solutions at enterprise scale.
Deeply knowledgeable in AI operations, model lifecycle management, cloud platforms, and modern data ecosystems including Azure and Databricks.
Commercially minded, with strong experience balancing cost, performance, risk, and business value to maximise return on AI investment.
A trusted partner who can influence senior stakeholders and translate complex technical concepts into clear business decisions.
Pragmatic, accountable, and outcome-focused, with a passion for reliability, continuous improvement, and scaling AI safely and sustainably.
