Key Responsibilities
As Store Operative, you'll help keep our operation running smoothly by:
- Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries accurately and safely
- Picking, packing, and issuing stock as required
- Moving stock and materials around the store room (manual handling involved)
- Keeping the store room clean, tidy, and well-organised at all times
- Carrying out regular stock counts and reporting discrepancies
- Following health & safety and manual handling procedures
- Supporting other teams with stock-related requests as needed
Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience in a store room, warehouse, or stock-handling role is desirable
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting, carrying, and standing
- Energetic, proactive, and able to work at a steady pace
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
