A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a merchandise planner to join a fun brand in their entertainment department. This brand is one of the most recognisable brands in the world, built on a mix of storytelling, nostalgia, and large-scale entertainment experiences. At its core, they represent imagination, family-friendly values, and emotional connection.

As a merchandise planner, you'll manage business insights and analytics to build innovative quarterly and annual financial strategies and compelling assortments across multiple channels, including ecommerce and stores. Your expertise will ensure our offerings stay ahead of market and consumer trends, maximizing opportunities in every segment. You'll analyse sales and oversee assortments and respond to performance, trends, and learnings, keeping inventory optimized and business agile.

The successful candidate will have experience leading pre-season and in-season category plans, monitor sales performance. You will be extremely data driven, have experience working with the buying team on range builds, optimise SKU availability and productivity. You will have worked in an omni-channel business and excellent skills in Microsoft Office, and Business Objects is desirable. You will have managed a team.

In return, the company offers a salary ranging from £56,000 - £58,000, plus bonus, a generous employee discount, pension scheme and medical scheme. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office three days a week and one from home.
