We’re looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join our team at our St. Paul location.

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Sous Chef:

  • Support the Senior Sous Chef in delivering high-quality dishes that meet brand standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and efficiency during service
  • Assist in managing daily kitchen operations, coordinating prep and service to maintain smooth workflows while upholding quality and efficiency.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain a positive and productive work environment that encourages collaboration and skill growth.
  • Monitor stock levels, assist in supplier management, and implement cost-effective measures to control food costs while maintaining ingredient quality and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, hygiene protocols, and cleanliness standards to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen environment

If you have experience in the below too that would be advantageous:

  • 2+ years’ experience in high-volume kitchen, with experience across different sections of the kitchen.
  • Worked to exact recipes/ingredients to specifications using both fresh and frozen ingredients.
  • Worked in large operational environments before.
