A leading international consumer products business is seeking an experienced Amazon Operations Manager to take ownership of its European Amazon operations and drive best-in-class execution across multiple marketplaces.
This is a newly created role, offering a rare opportunity to shape operational strategy, introduce new ideas, and make a significant impact within a growing e-commerce function. Initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, there is a clear opportunity for the successful individual to demonstrate the long-term value of the position and secure a permanent role.
The Opportunity
Reporting into senior leadership, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational performance of Amazon business activities across Europe. Leading a small team, you'll oversee fulfilment, inventory management, logistics performance, operational KPI delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a highly visible role that requires a strong analytical mindset, exceptional operational leadership, and a deep understanding of how Amazon operates across Vendor Central environments.
Working closely with commercial, planning, and sales stakeholders, you'll ensure operational excellence while delivering an outstanding customer experience across all European marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and optimise the full order-to-fulfilment process across Amazon EU marketplaces.
• Drive operational excellence across fulfilment, inventory, logistics, and customer service performance.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
• Reduce operational defects, chargebacks, and supply chain issues.
• Improve OTIF performance and fill rates across European operations.
• Enhance reporting visibility, data accuracy, and performance transparency.
• Lead, coach, and develop a small operational team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across planning, sales, and commercial functions.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable business results.

• Improved OTIF and fill-rate performance.
• Reduction in operational defects and chargebacks.
• Faster resolution of operational issues.

• Greater data transparency and reporting capability.
About You
• 3-5+ years' experience within Amazon Operations, e-commerce operations, supply chain, or fulfilment environments.
• Strong knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and Amazon EU operating requirements.
• Experience managing operational performance through data and KPIs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with EDI systems (TrueCommerce experience advantageous).
• Background in 3PL and logistics operations.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Results-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
• German and/or Spanish language skills would be advantageous but are not essential.
