We're looking for someone with genuine enthusiasm for cycling, a passion for bike sales, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

While technical skills are important, your energy, product knowledge, and ability to inspire customers will be what really sets you apart.

As one of our Cycle Technicians, you'll work on everything from children's bikes and commuter cycles to premium road bikes, mountain bikes, and the latest electric bikes. You'll play a key role in helping customers choose, maintain, and enjoy their bikes, delivering expert advice, exceptional service, and high-quality repairs that keep them coming back.

Alongside carrying out servicing, repairs, and bike builds, you'll share your knowledge with colleagues, helping to develop the team's skills and ensuring every customer receives the market-leading service Halfords is known for. If you're a practical problem solver who takes pride in your work and enjoys exceeding customer expectations, you'll thrive in this role.

What We're Looking For

Ideally, you'll have:

• A genuine passion for cycling and all things bike


• A passion for bike sales and helping customers find the right bike and accessories


• Experience building, servicing and repairing a wide range of cycles


• A proven track record of delivering excellent customer service, ideally in a retail or cycle services environment


• Confidence in sharing your knowledge and supporting the development of others


• Experience working towards and achieving sales targets


• Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends
