A fashion retailer known for being a national powerhouse across the UK is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Online Trading to take full ownership of online sales performance. Reporting to the Director of Ecommerce, the successful candidate will lead the end‑to‑end trading strategy, ensuring forecasting, promotional execution and onsite experience consistently support business objectives, brand positioning and customer expectations. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the trading roadmap and ensuring all digital touchpoints deliver a cohesive, high‑performing customer journey.

In this role, the Head of Online Trading will oversee all online trading activity, managing forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and ensuring promotional events and business messaging are executed accurately. You will work closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing and Operations to align stock, content and execution, while leading ongoing UX and CX optimisation through site walks, testing and performance‑driven improvements. They will also own the onsite trading and content calendar, balancing newness, storytelling and commercial performance across all brands.

You will be responsible for developing clear, accurate and commercially rigorous reporting across all web channels, utilising analytics tools to translate performance insight into actionable trading decisions, communicating outcomes and learnings to the wider business and brand partners. As a people leader, you will also manage a team of direct reports, setting clear expectations, building capability and fostering a culture of ownership, structured thinking and shared accountability.

The salary is paying up to £75,000
